USA Polonica family mementos, Marchalewicz-Dorociak-Miller, Seattle Washington State
My name is Stuart Marchalewicz-Dorociak Miller from Seattle, USA
It is my pleasure to show my Polish pride after 150 years and no family information but my desire and the virtual gallery Narodowa GA.PA www.narodowa.pl
I found my maternal and paternal families! What an amazing thing I did for my soul in my lifetime.
These photos show some of my joy:
The first is at my family (mother, father, brother and later me) cemetery location in Seattle Washington State USA with my shared Polish-American spirit.
The second is my Polish winter bicycle jersey that I ride with. I am the only one in America with this and I do get cars honking and waving at me when I ride near Polish Catholic churches!
The third is just fun, Me an Saint Nicholas.
The fourth is Czeslaw and Barbara Marchalewicz at a family cemetery in Knyszyn Jasionowka Poland (up near Belarus, Lithuania, and in the 19th century as Russia). Czeslaw is my blood family of Maciej arrived in America in 1891, while Barbara is the sweet loving wife of Czeslaw. Maciej’s wife in the US Marianna Dorociak originated from Podole Przeclaw Poland (down near Krakow, southern part of Poland) and they had in America seven children… Jozef is my father and the last born.
The fifth is the cemetery in Wilkeson Washington State USA where Maciej and Marianna are buried. Somehow it was not spelled correctly… maybe ran out of room? Strange though since the kids born all were raised in a Polish family setting and all their offical records showed how their names were spelled. So it is unknown how or why but Marchalewicz is correct.
My very good friend in Warsaw Mr Tadeusz Wysocki has this website so that people of the world can share Polish history.
